What methods of payment does ScoreManager
accept online? |
If you choose a service that requires online
payment, you will be asked to pay by credit card. Paypal will
accept all forms of credit cards or a Paypal account. Checking
and debit cards with any of the previous credit logos can be used
as well. Currently we are not accepting cash or checks as payment
for our online service. Please ask your counselor if you have
any other questions about payment. |
How will I be billed for my monthly
ScoreManager enrollment? |
If you enroll in our monthly ScoreManager
program, our system will indicate the cost (if any) and your credit
account will be billed on a monthly basis for the length of the
enrollment term you choose. The Enrollment/application fee will
be charged to your account immediately after enrollment and setup.
Your credit account will be charged for the amount of the monthly
service in 1-month intervals until your enrollment expires after
the fourth month or until you cancel the service. After the fourth
month you be able to enroll again for the same monthly fee and
NO setup fee for additional lengths of time. |
Is my online payment secure? |
Yes. Paypal’s system uses Secure Sockets
Layer (SSL) encryption to safeguard the payment and financial
data transmitted through our site. |
Can I cancel my enrollment in ScoreManager? |
If you try ScoreManager and decide it is
not for you, you may cancel your enrollment and stop the monthly
billing. Simply call our customer service line at (866) 857-0052.
You will not be eligible for a pro-rated refund of any of your
current month’s paid enrollment. |
What is the refund policy if my transaction
fails? |
If our system fails to pull your credit report
and does not create an analysis, you will be refunded. The charges
will be credited back to your account. If your transaction fails,
but your account is not credited for the error, please contact
us at (866) 857-0052. |

Do I have to have a valid e-mail address
to enroll in ScoreManager?
|
Yes. Many functions of our system require
you to have a personal e-mail address to receive the results.
It is important that you use a valid e-mail address because you
will be receiving important information at the e-mail address
you provide. If you do not currently have an e-mail address, you
may apply for a free e-mail account with services such as Yahoo!
Mail or MSN Hotmail. Or you may use the email address of a trusted
friend or relative. |
| I get the error message: “field cannot contain special
characters”, what does this mean? |
Because we are requesting confidential credit information about
you at your request, the fields on our forms are syntax-sensitive.

- Please do not use any special characters such as: !,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,(,)_,+,:,;,”,’,<,>
or ?.

Please refer to the syntax example shown
in red below each question. Specifically, this means that
you do not need to place a dollar sign or commas in the expense
and income figures.For monthly rent of six hundred and seventy
two dollars, type “672”, not---“$672”.Similarly,
your birth date must be typed in this format: MM/DD/YYYY,
and your phone number must be typed: XXX-XXX-XXXX.

| What are the system and browser compatibility requirements
to use ScoreManager? |
Our site is optimized to work best on Windows
using Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher. You can download the latest
version of Internet Explorer at http://www.microsoft.com.You
need to have your PC’s active X controls enabled and you
should allow pop-ups from our site. |
| What if I don’t know / don’t have a valid
Social Security Number? |
You must have a valid Social Security Number
to use ScoreManager. Without a valid Social Security Number, our
system cannot pull your credit report or create an analysis of
your credit health or financial position. |
| Why do I have to create a login? What is this for? |
You must create a login name and password
in order to use ScoreManager’s online system. This enables
our system to store your information in a way that you can securely
retrieve it in the future. |
Note about your login name and password:
Both must contain from 6-11 alphanumeric characters (no special
characters or spaces allowed.) Be sure to remember your login
name and password and keep it confidential. The reminder phrase
is a way for you to enter a word or phrase that will help you
remember your password if you forget.
